Frequently Asked Questions
Most initial meetings last between 1 and 1.5 hours - one or two representatives will meet you at your home to discuss your goals, plans, and see your space. Some minor measurements may be taken, but the goal is to grasp the full scope of your project. Representatives will do their best to answer your questions and give you insight into the construction process.
Each project is different in many ways, but typically we see kitchen remodels taking between 4 to 8 weeks. Master bathroom remodels taking between 4 to 6 weeks and basement finishes 10 to 12 weeks. Additions can vary from 10 weeks to four months depending on the size and complexity.
Once the full scale of your specific project has been realized, we will be able to provide you with a realistic timeline for project completion based off the scope of work.
We have worked with interior designers in the past, but do not have any on staff.
If you want to hire an interior designer to help with the process - we are happy to include them (or anyone else) in the process. Ultimately: it is your home, so your opinion and say are the most important.
The short answer: yes, we do employ subcontractors.
The long answer: we only work with subcontractors that we trust and have worked with for many years. We don't bid your house out to just anyone. Every single one of our subcontractors is state licensed and fully insured.
We warranty our handiwork for up to two years following your final inspection.
Our subcontractors and manufacturers offer their own, separate warranties. However, we're always happy to help in anyway that we can to make sure you're satisfied for years to come.
Many factors influence our ability to start a project. Even although a client may be excited and ready to start straight away it is our goal to be in your home for the shortest period of time possible while delivering superior quality renovation.
Permit plan review periods, cabinet production lead times, material availability and selections of these products can be time-consuming. We will do our best to make sure you're in the know during the whole process.
